To market our film in the most successful way
possible we have taken many different approaches to ensure it is
promoted correctly to our target audience. Listed below are the different
ways we are promoting our film:
Below- the line -marketing:
- We will be using Social media to target our secondary target audience
young adults this is because many of them use social media so if we have social
media accounts like twitter, facebook and instagram ,this will be free
advertising that we can use to capture their attention on wanting to watch the
film.
- Radio & press interviews are free advertising which we will be using
to promote the film to our target audience sand also not necessarily our target
audience but are interested in the film therefore causing a bigger profit of
viewings.
- Email Marketing.
Through-the-line marketing:
- We will use Ads on the main channels on freeview for example
channel 4, ITV. This is so it will reach our target audience of the
middle age category, this could also possible attract other audiences
that are not our target audience and therefore boost our viewings
because it will be driving direct contact with new customers.
- Magazines will be a good way to promote our film because
especially women still read magazines and if there is a page in
the magazine dedicated to our film this will catch their eye, we thought
this would be the best way to promote to this target audience because
they may not use social media as much as the younger generation
Above-the-line marketing :
- Billboards are above the line marketing and we will
be using this for passing by on lookers such as people getting
on public transport on their way and from work. The reason we choose this type
of marketing is because our target audience is the middle age
and intellectual so will most like to work in the city which
means they will be using public transport to commute to work
